Hey everyone! The holiday season is just about here, unbelievable!! Some of you may want some portraits before the end of the year, for cards, Christmas presents, or it just might be time for updated portraits.
The bad news… unless you are already on the books, you only have one more date to book portraits with me, November 20th.
The good news… there is special pricing for portraits booked that day AND they will take place at an awesome location, Sam Davis Home in Smyrna.
Send me an email or give me a call to book a session.

This weeks challenge over at iheartfaces is the color pink, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The photo must have a face and the color pink in some form. Here is my entry:

So my challenge for next week is to actually get the entry in before 9 p.m. on Tuesday! This week I missed it by 1 minute. Here is my entry anyway. I narrowed it between two pics and via Facebook I asked which photo everyone liked best. This one won. Fan me on Facebook to see the other photo.
Oh, and the challenge was to show a photo with a face in an Orchard, or with an Orchard fruit. This is Aune Orchard, aka our backyard.

I haven’t fallen off the photo challenge bandwagon just yet, last week they were on a bye (I kid you not) and this week’s challenge is beef. Seriously, BEEF! So, I will not be entering a challenge photo this week. 1. Because we don’t eat a lot of beef and 2. I have zero interest in photographing Beef.
So instead I thought I would post a fall picture instead, enjoy!

The photo challenge over at iheartfaces this week is to show a picture with a “smirk”. A smirk refers to a smile evoking insolence, scorn, or offensive smugness. Here is my go at this weeks challenge….

Hey everyone! Yes, I am back to blogging :) I had my first session back after having Emmett and it didn’t go too bad. Thought I would be a little more rusty. This is a new addition to a family who I have been doing pictures for some time. This little girl was in fact was the last session before having Emmett and my first one back. I love seeing the family each time and normally at least one Grandma is in from out of town. Grandma Ruth attended this time and snapped some pics of us in action.

I have started following a new blog called I Heart Faces and each week they have a photo challenge that any experience level of photographer is allowed to enter. I decided to enter this week. The challenge is to show a photo that has a vehicle (any mode of transportation) and also features a face.
I picked this photo.

Let me know what you think!
