Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you some important dates and info for fall/Christmas photos.

If you want to book a fall session, please call soon. I have some Tuesday/Thursday daytime availability, but am not taking any more evening appointments at this time for October. Remember that if you booked a mini session that the entire session fee will be going to my charity “Operation Smile“, if you booked a regular session than part of your fee will go to the charity.

If you want to help with the charity, but didn’t book a session, you still can! I am offering some special products during the month of October and the first couple of weeks of November and the proceeds will go to “Operation Smile“. Choose a 10×10 “Smile” collage with your choice of pictures for $35, an 8×8 Fall Collage for $25, or a set of folded note cards with your choice of picture for $15. You can chose an image from a past session or pre-order for a future session.

I am participating in our church Trunk-or-treat event this year again. It is at Lifepoint Stewarts Creek on October 31st from 11-2. I will be having a fall set so you can bring your child in his or her costume or fall outfit and get a free picture. They can trick-or-treat from the trunks, have fun on the bounce houses, enjoy a treat at our cupcake walk, pet some animals at our petting zoo, and go on a hay-ride for free! It will be a ton of fun. You can also purchase additional pictures at reduced cost or some of my special products from me with the proceeds going to “Operation Smile” .

Finally, some of you have been asking about Christmas pictures. I will be having a White Christmas set this year and it will be available on November 14th. Please call if you would like to reserve your time slot.

Busier than ever with sessions, school starting, and planning my little girl’s 3rd b-day party! I am now booking fall sessions… yes it is that time. I will be doing some mini sessions for my charity ‘Operation Smile” at the end of October, so if you want to get in on this great deal and help create a smile for a little boy or little girl, call or email me!

This is a good friend of mine and her newest addition. Her little girl and my daughter are only weeks apart in age. It was a pleasure to be able to do these pictures for them and get some with their precious little ones together.

We got a lot of great shots of this little cutie, both awake and sleeping… then Dad asked that we get a shot of him naked on his Grandmother’s wooden chair. I have photographed several babies on a hard wooden chair sound asleep … and let me tell you if the baby is not out cold, it is no easy feat. We did manage to get some awesome shots but we used a few tricks to get us there. Mom and Dad asked me to design this collage for them as well. I also had an opportunity to use some different b&w and sepia conversions on the chair images, since I knew they would go awesome with those images.

I am slowly catching up on blogging, at least over here. Baby K came in for her one year portrait session. I had to break out the pink drop as I just knew that her Mommy would bring some awesome outfits and colorful ones too. She didn’t fail me, I love the variety. The funny thing is that once I had the pink up before the session my daughter who never wants her picture taken was begging me to take a picture of her…. I should have known that the pink drop would do it!

Well I finally got a chance to work outside!!! We had such a rainy May, I had several rain outs. In fact this was one that got rained out the first time, but we had an awesome session when we finally got a chance to do it. I had so many favorites it was hard to pick for this blog. I also found out that this little 3 year old is going to be a big brother!
